Stay Safe During GA Storm Season!
E. Smith wants to make sure your family is prepared for changing weather! We are well into spring and headed into hot, Georgia summers. With the changing temperatures thunderstorms become common during this time of the year. When the dark clouds roll in, it's important to stay alert as thunderstorms can produce intense lightning and quickly form tornados.
What should you look for?
· Warm, humid temperatures, heavy rainfall and lightning all point to a thunderstorm.
· If you can hear thunder, you’re close enough to be struck by lightning.
How can I stay safe?
· If the weather is favorable for storms, stay inside.
· If you’re outside and cannot get indoors, take shelter in your car.
· Know the 30/30 Rule: go indoors if, after seeing lightning, you cannot count to 30 before hearing thunder. Stay indoors for 30 minutes after hearing the last clap of thunder.
· Check your home for dead or rotted trees and remove them to avoid fallen trees during storms.
· Listen to the radio or check a mobile app for weather updates.
· Don’t forget about your pets! Doghouses can be struck by lightning and trees can fall, so consider keeping them safe inside.
What about my electronics in the home?
· Unplug all appliances and electronics.
· If appliances and electronics are plugged in, be sure to utilize surge protectors.
· Use battery backups–these will allow electronics to continue running even during a blackout avoiding improper shutdowns.

Ragtime- The Musical "Skinny"
At the dawn of a new century, everything is changing… and anything is possible. Set in the volatile melting pot of turn-of-the-century New York, “Ragtime” weaves together three distinctly American tales — that of a stifled suburban mother, an inventive Jewish immigrant, and a daring young Harlem musician — united by their courage, compassion, and belief in the promise of the future. Their compelling stories intertwine to form a rich tapestry of hopes and dreams, struggles and triumphs, rhythm and rhyme–set to an epic, Tony Award-winning score by Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens.

Rave Reviews!
Thank you, MikefromWoodstock, for trusting E. Smith for your repairs!
“Recently moved into the area and called E Smith out on a service call because they had installed the Carrier system under the old owner. After pulling up the address on file, a service technician was dispatched. Sean Farist was an expert on the system. He explained the system to me, fixed the problem and left me with a very very high opinion of E Smith H/AC. I will certainly call them again!”
