"They are just absolutely the best service company I’ve ever encountered.  First of all, they have a salesman that's very, very knowledgeable about heating and air conditioning systems. They go through what they have, and they specify. They kind of plan what you really need. They don't seem to lead you into unnecessary equipment, and where there are alternatives, they give you alternatives. In fact, I had a guy just recently that told me things I could do that weren't even things his company sells. He said, 'Well, you could do this; you could do that-, It was really pretty straightforward, good stuff. Then the installers came, and they were very professional, they did a good job, they cleaned it up and everything was working right. The best part about it was that they had a third party, which apparently was an engineer of some kind-probably electronics or mechanical-somebody that was well educated, and he came back out after the work was done. After the installation, he re-checked all of the electronic parts and reset some things for me and said, 'It's going to work better this way.  It was very, very well done and their workers are professional and knowledgeable."

"I just had to put in a unit. I had a Trane upstairs, and of course I had a Trane downstairs too, but my Trane never did work right, and finally it just stopped cooling. I use E. Smith. It was excellent. I got an estimate from another company on the unit, and they came out and said $3,900 for just an upstairs two-tone unit, and I said, 'Good goshl' I finally got them down to like $2,800 or $2,900, and l called E. Smith's and said, 'What would this cost me?' and She said, 'Well, that sounds like it'd be about $2,500, but I can't really tell you, and I'm going to have to check it' So, they sent a marketing person out here, and he said, 'We can put in for $2,200.' Now, that's nearly half of what (the other company) had started out with. l let them go ahead and put it in. Of course, l think E. Smith has always had a reputation of costing a little bit more, but I think their service is really a guaranteed service, no question about it. I was pleased with their installation. They installed a Carrier, which I like, and which I had in my last house.  They handle those a lot now."

"I love E. Smith, I'm serious. This was a couple of years ago, and I tell everyone I come in contact with. They came out to my house two, maybe three, winders ago because we had a problem with the pilot light and all sorts of lines. It's a unique kind of unit for the house. They had to come out, and they had to redo it. In the course of this, they found that there was a heat exchange problem, and they needed to replace the heat exchanger. The guy said to me, 'Look, I'm going to charge you sort of the whole price for this, but we may be able to salvage one of you parts and be able to use it, in which case, it will be cheaper. But we won't know that until we get out there and look at its And I said, 'Well, we've got to have it done anyway, so come out and do it. And we paid them the full price at the time, because they said that's what it was going to cost. We went ahead and paid it; we were done with it. And much later, I got a check in the mail for $1,300, because he said he was going back through the report, and he noticed that, in fact, they were able to use the part. So, since he told me he was not going to charge me for that, he sent me the money. I mean, I had totally written off the money. I got this check for like $I,300. I say very, very good things about them to anyone who would ever listen to me. They are a really honest company."

"I use E. Smith for Heating & Air. I think they do good work, absolutely.  They've installed several new units in my house and serviced them the last three or four years. I have a contact with them to maintain it. I have no problems with E. Smith, none. There are no leaks or anything no problems at all with the unit."

It was like he was trying different things because we didn't want to have to replace X, Y, or Z. He's like, 'No, no, no, you don't have to...' Because it would be like an $8,000 investment.
